You’re also breaking the law if your letterheads don’t have the following printed on them:

  • Your place of registration

  • Your registered office address

Prices start from just £149.  If you have any queries please give us a call.  T&C’s apply.

EnvelopeSlider

Now we can make your envelopes more personalised than ever before, helping you to talk directly to your customers the moment they have the envelope in their hand. With extremely fast turnaround available and volumes as low as a single copy, it really is time to change the way you buy envelopes.

Digital envelope printing is new to the Industry and unique to Ballyprint.com. We have invested in this innovative technology to provide you with more flexibility and creative choices. Now you can create personalised envelopes that stand out, generate increased open rates and ultimately help to deliver an improved ROI.

Variable data printing uses a generic artwork template, with text and images sections linked to a database. So each envelope we print can be totally personalised to the individuals on your marketing database.

Perfect for sophisticated Direct Mail campaigns, but also great for producing multi-version envelopes, because we can vary images and copy, you could produce 100’s of versions of an envelope without the expense of plate changes.

Getting Letterheads Right

Your letterhead says more about your business than you know. It’s your masthead, the official image of your company, its an insight into your company. Get it wrong and you look unprofessional or worse, like a rogue trader.

Here are some tips to make sure your letterhead says what you want it to and what it needs to.

Legal requirements
Most people use their lettterheads to further advertise their business or organisation, but don’t forget there are some things you have to include on your letterhead to meet legal requirements.

These depend on your company structure.

Sole traders:
– You must include the full company trading name and address.
– You must also include your name if it is different from your company’s trading name.

Partnerships:
– Include the full company trading name.
– You must include the names of all partners, or a place where this list is available if there are many.
– The address of the main office for correspondence.

Limited Companies:
– Include the full company name
– You must include the company registration number and place of registration.
– You must also include the registered address, and the business premises address if these are different.
– You don’t have to list the Directors, but you must include either the names of all directors or none, not a partial list.

VAT Registered companies, regardless of structure:
– You must list your Vat registration Number.
– You must also include your VAT Registered office address.

Spot UV refers to a high shiny finish added to an area of printed material, this can be noticed by a very reflective high shine it has when it catches the light. Widely used on business cards and small high quality leaflets, and company brochures.

How Does it work?, How is it Done?

Spot UV can make areas of your design really stand out. You need to have planned for this with your print supplier in the early stages of the design process. Although this is not done at the design stage, it is a print process applied right at the end after the printing, but before a job is folded or guillotined.

As soon as the ink is applied to the material, then the Spot UV is added on top. Almost like another skin of ink, gloss spot UV looks like a layer of cellotape. This process is either done on the end of the printing line, within the same process of the job being printed or is done after on a separate machine, this all depends if your print supplier has this facility added to the end of their printing presses. Its used to be common for a full colour printer outsource this technique, but as it more often these days, most printing companies add Spot UV in house.
Spot UV is normally added to a job along with a matt laminate, this is to further enhance the shininess of the Spot UV. Having a matt material which obviously dulls the light helps to bring out the vibrant reflectiveness of the varnish. The ‘Spot’ printing technique is almost as if it’s another ink or separate colour. If you are printing a full colour document, then the spot process is an additional coat on the top of the rest of the CMYK colours used to produce the colour work.
